Hi! I’m Amber.
I’m the type of therapist who understands that relationships can be challenging–and being in a same sex relationship can include additional complications. We are all changing and growing as we learn and gain experience in our lives. By understanding our own patterns of behavior and communication, we can find opportunities to grow in our communication to improve our connection & intimacy.
My clients tell me that I understand them on a deep level. They look forward to our sessions weekly sessions where we can connect and help them flourish in their lives and relationships.
I provide therapy for adults:
I empower individuals to feel confident in their relationships and in the type of intimacy they seek.
You feel unsure of yourself in relationships. You have a hard time asking for what you want or need. You feel dissatisfied, confused and disconnected. You worry that you are the problem in the relationship or that your partner deserves better than you. Communication and sex might feel awkward or disconnected–and you want it to be better.
Through therapy you can feel sexy, self-assured, and comfortable sharing your feelings and desires.
I also provide couples therapy:
I help LGBTQ+ couples in harnessing their intimacy, sex, and fulfilling relationships they seek.
You’re a power couple; you support each others goals and depending on each other in some ways comes easy. Intimacy and sex aren’t prioritized, and you sometimes struggle to feel connected to one another intimately. You enjoy sex with each other, but weeks or even months can go by without any sexual activity. You both want to change this, but this has become a pattern and you feel stuck!
Through therapy, you can connected & important to each other, sexy & attractive, wanted, and confident.
On a personal note…
I am a believer in appreciating what each day brings, even the tough ones. I love to rock climb, read, hike, and hang with my pups. I enjoy spending time with my partner and chosen family. I enjoy cooking and exercising. I believe self-care is vital and breathing through the tough moments builds our capacity to face the unimaginable.
