Hi! I’m Melanie.
I’m the type of therapist who understands how much we long to feel understood and connected in our most important relationships–and how much it hurts when these needs aren’t being met. I know how exhausting it can feel to carry the weight of past relationships and still want to feel safe, loved, and connected. Together, we’ll create space for you to finally feel good — grounded, worthy, and at peace.
My clients tell me that I’m easy to talk to and they can really open up without feeling judged. They’ve also shared that I have a warm, calming presence.
I provide trauma therapy for adults & teens:
I help people who have been hurt in relationships feel safe, grounded, and genuinely good within themselves and with others.
You feel like you can’t fully trust people — even the ones who care about you. You keep ending up in relationships where you feel unseen or not enough. Part of you wants to open up and connect, but another part is scared I’ll get hurt again. You might feel like something is wrong with you or you aren’t good enough.
Through therapy, you can feel confident, calm and loved.
I also provide couples therapy:
I help couples who feel distant, unheard, or misunderstood reconnect and experience their relationship with warmth and compassion again.
You feel distant and unheard in your relationship. Every time you try to talk, it turns into an argument or one of you shuts down. You love each other, but it feels like you’re just roommates lately–you’ve lost the spark and you miss feeling close & connected.
Through therapy, you can rebuild warmth, understanding, and compassion in your relationship so you can feel like true partners again.
On a personal note…
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in getting outdoors — hiking, biking, and soaking up the sunshine whenever I can. I’m also a foodie who loves discovering local events and festivals to connect with community and enjoy new experiences. As a mom of two, I’ve learned the value of slowing down and appreciating the small, meaningful moments that make life full. I I believe that relationships truly make the world go around, and I’m honored to support others in nurturing theirs. I’d be grateful to be part of your journey toward healing, growth, and connection.
