sabrina therapist sacramento

Hi! I’m Sabrina.

I’m the type of therapist who understands how hard it can be to open up about emotions and things that hurt–and how lonely it can feel when we don’t have anyone to turn to.

My clients tell me that they feel really understood by me.  They feel hope for their future that they never thought they’d experience.

I provide trauma therapy for adults & teens:

I help people who have experienced trauma in their childhood or family feel safe and comfortable within themselves.

You feel anxious and stressed all the time. It’s so hard to trust others and get close–others sometimes see you as cold or unwelcoming. You feel alone and when you do connect with others, it can be hard to resolve conflict. You worry that people might never understand you and that it will never get better. You feel so sad, scared, and exhausted.

Through therapy, you can feel understood, calm and confident to create the life you want.  What happened wasn’t your fault and it is possible to heal.

I also provide couples therapy:

I help worried, busy couples improve their communication so they can feel love and happiness in their relationships.

You feel misunderstood by your partner. You try your best to be there for each other, but have a difficult time connecting regularly because life is so busy! You would like to reconnect, but it’s hard to find your way back to each other when you feel more like roommates than partners. You feel exhausted, tired and maybe even hopeless as you get into the same arguments over and over–you want to feel like your partner is listening to you and that you understand each other.

Through therapy, you can reconnect–feel excited to see each other and communicate lovingly.

On a personal note…

I have two dogs who I love very much. I love traveling to other countries and exploring new cultures and customs! I’m a huge fan of going to festivals & concerts, playing chess, and playing games. I love what I do and I am so grateful to be part of your journey!
