Hi! I’m Taylor.
I’m the type of therapist who understands that you might deeply crave close connection, but feel out of control when your body or mind tells you connection is unsafe. When we’ve been assaulted or hurt by people close to us, our trauma may pop up into our lives and relationships in ways that we don’t want it to.
My clients tell me that they feel safe, seen, heard, and hopeful. They’ve told me that they fee safer in their body and confident going forward in their ability to prioritize their needs and balance the demands that life and work are placing on them.
I provide therapy for adults:
I work with folks who have been impacted by trauma or violence and are seeking to heal, rebuild a sense of safety, and feel more secure in their body, relationships, and community.
You feel stuck in survival mode, constantly putting the needs of others before your own. You do not know if or when you can trust people. The trauma and/or violence you have experienced feels like it defines who you are. You don’t know if you’ll ever feel safe in your body again or be able to have positive sexual experiences. You want to have a positive relationship with your body and sexual experiences and you just don’t want to live like this anymore.
Through therapy, you can feel safe, connected and in control of your life.
I also provide couples therapy:
You are committed to one another and want your relationship to feel like a source of comfort, connection, and security. However, the effects of past trauma, exposure to violence, life stressors such as emotionally taxing professions, or challenges with intimacy may leave you feeling distant, reactive, or caught in painful cycles that neither of you want. You long to feel more understood, supported, and emotionally connected but aren’t always sure how to get there. Together, you are seeking a space where they can heal old wounds, improve communication, and create a relationship rooted in safety, trust, and mutual care.
Through therapy, you can feel safe emotionally & sexually, connected and supportive of one another’s needs.
On a personal note…
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me outdoors, at a Valkyries game, playing soccer, exploring local trails with my rescue pup, Blitz, or enjoying live music with friends. I feel deeply honored to walk alongside clients in their healing journeys and would be privileged to support you as you move toward greater safety, connection, and well-being in this next chapter of your life.
