Hi! I’m Emily.

I’m the type of therapist who understands what it’s like to put a lot of pressure on yourself to be a good person – strong, successful, and helpful to others. We can go deep in our work to get to a place of joy, connection, and love.

My clients tell me that they feel like their voice truly matters, and that’s not something they’ve felt in a long time.” I’ve been told they feel like they are talking to someone who really cares, not just a therapist.  They often are able to get clarity by seeing the bigger picture instead of getting caught in the details–so they feel less overwhelmed and more confident.

I provide trauma therapy for adults:

I help perfectionistic people and high achievers find healing so that they can experience love for themselves and more confidence in relationships and life.

You are beginning to realize that the way you’ve coped—by staying busy, staying small, or staying in control—no longer feels fulfilling. You sense that old patterns shaped by your upbringing are still influencing how you move through the world, but you’re not quite sure how to shift. You often feel disconnected from yourself, like you’re living by someone else’s rules. Deep down, you’re craving clarity, authenticity, and a way to feel more rooted in your own sense of power and purpose.

Through therapy, you can feel authentic, empowered, and grounded.

I also provide couples therapy:

I help couples navigate unmet needs, communication challenges, and barriers so they can build the deeply connected relationship they truly want.

You care deeply about each other but you often feel stuck. You try to share how you feel, but it always turns into a fight or one of you shuts down. You might feel like you’re roommates lately–like your needs don’t matter. You might not know how to bring things up without it blowing up. you know you could have a really strong relationship, but you’re not sure how to get past the barriers that keep showing up.

Through therapy, you can feel heard & understood, close & connected, and valued in the relationship.

On a personal note…

I feel so honored to work with people and be a tool to help them meet their goals.

Outside of work, I’m an avid reader, a proud animal lover (especially my two fur babies), a food enthusiast, and a big fan of podcasts.

I love feeling like a lifelong student, always learning and growing. I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with others and excited to be part of your journey.
