Is anxiety impacting your life, relationships and self esteem?
- Are racing thoughts keeping you up at night?
- Do you dread awkward conversations and then replay them over and over in your mind?
- Does it feel like if one thing goes wrong, everything is going to fall apart?
You’ve done a lot of research on therapists and how to pick one who will actually understand you and be able to help. You know you need support because life is feeling overwhelming, but the anxiety you feel makes it so hard to make a decision sometimes.
On the outside, it seems like you have it all together. A great job, awesome relationships, a comfortable home.
But then why are your racing thoughts keeping you up at night?
We may have received messages as children that we weren’t good at school or that we were disobedient. Our emotions may have been seen by others are negative or disruptive which led adults to shame or punish us. It hurt so much to look into our parents eyes and see their disappointment.
Now as an adult, you might feel stuck in these same patterns. But it’s your partner or children who you feel you are disappointing. When you try to explain yourself to them, you feel misunderstood and like it’s just making things worse. Will you ever be enough?
People tell you to “just relax”. (*Eye-roll*)
How can you relax when it seems like you’re the only one holding things together?
How can you relax when it seems like no one else cares about the things that could go wrong?
Even when things seem to be going well, it feels like you’re bracing for the other shoe to drop.
You’re stressed out, overwhelmed and… if you could only get a chance to breathe…maybe you could figure out what that nagging feeling is all about. The one that tells you something is wrong.
You’re worried you aren’t doing enough to help your anxiety; that you aren’t taking care of the things that really matter. “RELAX!” you tell yourself. But…you can’t.
Anxiety is actually helpful and may have helped you in the past.
Our anxiety therapists are here to help you finally find relief
You’ve read a ton of books, listened to podcasts and even tried some tips you found online.
You have so much knowledge, but you still struggle with:
- Feelings of panic or impending doom
- Intrusive thoughts of everything that could go wrong
- A strong critical voice in your head
- Over-explaining yourself and worrying people will judge you or misunderstand you
- The sense that you overwhelm others or that you are too much
Most therapists will want to give you a bandaid–some coping skills to help you relax. But you’ve already tried those things. Love Heal Grow therapists will help you dive deep into the root of the problem so that you can finally heal.
Your anxiety does not mean you are “too much” and we’ll never tell you to calm down.
There are probably some real good reasons that your anxiety has gotten to this level.
You’ve probably experienced multiple times where things went wrong and you felt all alone and unsupported.
And worst of all, there wasn’t anyone you could turn to to help you with this feeling.
Your mind and body learned that you are “alone” and that you could only keep things together by over-functioning.
Now people judge you for being this way.
You make perfect sense, and we’ll help you heal so that you can feel more calm and confident (without just faking it on the outside).
What To Expect In Anxiety Therapy
Our Anxiety therapists are different than the therapists you’ll find at insurance-based practices or online apps.
At Love Heal Grow we specialize in relationships.
Anxiety therapy helps you with the most important relationship in your life: the one with yourself!
An anxiety therapist can help you get unstuck by teaching you ways to cope with your anxiety (because when you are living with stressful thoughts and overwhelm, you want ways to cope NOW)
AND, we help you get to the root of the problem by uncovering past experiences or negative beliefs which may be keeping you stuck.
Our team isn’t overworked and corporations don’t decide what your treatment should look like.
All of our therapists are trained in evidence-based therapy practices. They have been shown to be effective in treatment for anxiety, and helping adults get to a stronger, happier place.
But Maybe You’re Not Sure If Anxiety Therapy Is Right For You…

I've felt misunderstood by therapists in the past, how will I know it will be different this time?
We’re sorry that happened to you! Many therapists simply have too many clients on their caseloads to have time to implement the deep, evidence based work that Love Heal Grow therapists provide. We lead with empathy and take time to fully get to know you before we offer “quick fixes” that won’t actually work for someone with your unique needs.
Should I come for individual therapy or for couples therapy?
You can come for whichever feels most pressing for you and your therapist will be able to support you. If down the road, you discover you’d like to switch services for more focused attention you are welcome to do so. Couples therapy will look at how anxiety is playing out within the context of your relationship and will help reshape patterns that you both fall into; you won’t be identified as the “problem” because anxiety is just one part of your dynamic. Individual therapy will look specifically at your experience and help you heal individually so you can feel calm and confident on the inside even when your relationships or experiences aren’t going well.
What kind of evidence based interventions to your therapists use?
At Love Heal Grow, we train all therapists on Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. These are the experiential evidence-based treatments that go deeply to help you heal at the root of your anxiety. We find that experiential-processed based treatment has the most lasting impact on clients. Some therapists integrate ACT, DBT, CBT, EMDR or other cognitive interventions as well.
Stop being so mean to yourself
You don’t deserve it and we promise it’s not helping you. Our clients often find they are actually better at meeting their goals and creating the life they want once their anxiety is managed because they finally feel grounded and safe in their bodies and minds.
