Hi! I’m Linzy.
I’m the type of therapist who is passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults and their loved ones. You can heal & connect deeply even when your ways of connecting might have confused people you care about in the past.
My clients tell me that they feel comfortable opening up to me even about the most difficult topics. I create a safe and compassionate space where they can reconnect and heal.
I provide therapy for neurodivergent adults:
I help neurodivergent individuals navigate emotional overwhelm and build healthy, fulfilling relationships by understanding their unique needs.
You often feel misunderstood, especially in your relationships. You might struggle with sensory overload and emotional regulation, which leads to moments of shutdown or withdrawal that others misinterpret as disinterest or avoidance. You want to communicate more effectively with your partner but you are unsure of how to express your needs without feeling overwhelmed or invalidated. You are seeking a safe space to understand your emotional experiences better and find strategies to create deeper connections without feeling like they have to mask or suppress who they truly are.
Through therapy, you can feel understood, accepted, and in control.
I also provide couples therapy:
I help overwhelmed couples rebuild trust and connection by turning conflict into opportunities for growth.
You care deeply about one another but you often are on different pages when trying to connect. One of you might be neurodivergent, processesing emotions and sensory input differently, while the other partner, though well-intentioned, often misinterprets this as disinterest or emotional disconnection. Your attempts at communication frequently miss the mark—one craves clear, direct emotional expression, while the other prefers space and structure to process feelings internally. You both feel frustrated and lonely at times, stuck in a loop where each partner’s way of coping leaves the other feeling misunderstood or shut out. Despite this, you’re committed to the relationship and want help learning how to really “get” each other and build a connection that honors both their needs.
Through therapy, you can feel understood, emotionally & physically connected, and excited to spend quality time together!
On a personal note…
I’m a big believer in the power of connection, both in relationships and with the world around us.
Outside of my work, I love spending time with my family, diving into new books, taking long nature walks, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I value my relationship with God and find peace in the little things, whether that’s a quiet cup of tea or a thoughtful conversation.
I’m passionate about personal growth and always excited to learn, and I’m truly honored to be part of your journey toward healing and connection.
