I strive to help people create balance in their lives, which is something that I believe to be essential for our well-being.
Balance comes from gaining insight around life experiences, increasing awareness of emotions, and achieving deeper connections in relationships – not only with others, but with ourselves.
I’m the type of therapist who views therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert of your life, your relationships, and your experiences. But sometimes we need help to get a better understanding of those experiences, to know what it is that is important to us in our relationships, and to make changes in our lives that will help us feel fulfilled and content.
What I bring to the this collaborative process is validation and feedback. I will support clients through difficulty emotions, but I will also encourage them to look at things from new and different angles. Whatever brings people to therapy, it is often related to seeking some type of change – and shifting perspectives is often the key to creating that change.
Helping people achieve personal and professional growth is important to me, which is why I’m drawn to clinical supervision. I find supervision as a way to help both therapist and client to achieve their goals.
While you may not be working with me directly, being a clinical supervisor still allows me to support you and help ensure that your experience in therapy is positive. Your therapist will work with you to develop a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, while also having the added benefit of coaching and feedback from supervision on how to help you reach your goals.
