Partner, parent, sibling, or friend, our relationships are important. They celebrate us in the good times and support us in the bad. What are you doing to nurture your relationships? #Sacramento #relationshipcounseling #reachout

Partner, parent, sibling, or friend, our relationships are important. The people close to us are our support system.  They celebrate us in the good times and support us in the bad.

If we aren’t nurturing our close relationships, we risk feeling alone in our times of need.  Life gets busy and sometimes our support system is spread out geographically.

It is so easy to make excuses about not having the time to connect on a regular basis, but I wonder how much this objection is related to high expectations of what connection needs to look like.

We don’t need to spend hours on the phone with a friend or an entire weekend visiting with family.  Just reach out, in whatever way you are able.

What are you doing to nurture your relationships?
